During my time working at DCSL Software, I worked temporarily on the improvement of this project designing new components.

I mostly designed mock-ups and proposals for mobile environment, and I also worked on .NET environment integrating the HTML and SASS code.

Implemented features

I worked on improving user experience on the site by designing new features on the site.

Off canvas menu

I was assigned to redesign the site menu for the mobile site experience, and I needed to solve the problem of usability, and improve the navigation of the increasing number of categories.

I designed and developed an off canvas menu, that solved the problem of usability browsing categories and brands.

Pinch to zoom

I was asked to design, and present a better way to interact with the product pictures for our customers. After researching online, I realised that the pinch to zoom is the best solution for phone usability.

I developed this feature from scratch, using hammer.js for the gesture events. It was challenging considering all the possible events, I am proud of this huge improvement for the customer experience.

Fresh optimised experience for phone, using full width cards, cropped resized images, and removing backgrounds & borders to show a flat design.

Improving how products are displayed

Previously the products were shown in cards, using full width, and wasting space.

I changed the way customers used to browse products by decluttering the product information, highlighting the product image, aligning the content displaying it as a list.

Paypal payment

I designed Paypal payment UI integration, on product and check out page.

Price range

I also worked on how the filters work and are displayed on the side bar, worked on product description tabs, pinch to zoom for mobile, user account page, and I also worked integrating Javascript components.
